Theophany: The Great Blessing of Waters

The Feast of Theophany is this week. Great Vespers is Sunday evening, January 5th at 7:00 PM. Divine Liturgy is Monday morning, January 6th at 9:00 AM. The Great Blessing of Waters will be performed at both services. Please bring bottles to take blessed water home. Theophany water is kept throughout the year and used for blessing homes, in times of illness, and in daily prayer. Following the feast, Father Solomon will begin scheduling house blessings; watch for the sign-up. Theophany reminds us that at Christ's Baptism, the Holy Trinity was revealed fully for the first time: the Son in the water, the Spirit as a dove, the Father's voice from heaven. Come and celebrate it.
