Good Work Begun: A Conversation on First Years in Ministry

Before the Gala on Monday, December 22nd at 3:30 PM, the Cathedral is hosting "Good Work Begun: Discussing First Years in Ministry," a conversation between Fr. Solomon Longo (St. Tikhon's Seminary, OCA) and Fr. Nicholas Fine (St. Vladimir's Seminary, Antiochian Archdiocese) about the real experience of priestly ministry in the years after ordination. This is designed for seminarians, those discerning a vocation, and clergy who want an honest conversation about the gap between seminary and parish life. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served at 3:30. Seminary faculty and students attend free, courtesy of a generous parishioner and SVS trustee. Arrive early to beat rush hour.
