Five Received into the Orthodox Church on Lazarus Saturday

This Saturday at 9 AM, the Cathedral celebrates the reception of five people into the Orthodox Church. Jake Brown, Nory Jean, Daryle Jean Louis, and Matt Welty will be baptized. Caroline Chiorean, previously baptized in another Christian tradition, will be received through Chrismation. Men being baptized: bring extra white clothes to change into after immersion, white shirts preferred, light-colored pants. Everyone: remove socks before the service; the anointing includes the feet. No turtlenecks; the priest needs access to the collarbone for chrismation. Please come and welcome your new brothers and sister in Christ.
