Spring Picnic at Liberty State Park with the Statue of Liberty in View

The parish gathered at Liberty State Park on April 5th for a spring picnic with an exceptional backdrop: the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline visible across the water. Liberty State Park is a short distance from the Cathedral, and using it as the picnic site gave the day a particular Jersey City quality that a backyard or church hall cannot replicate.
