Making of a Catechumen: Ambrose

Ambrose was received as a catechumen of the Orthodox Church in September 2023 in a ceremony before Divine Liturgy. The rite formally enrolls a person among those preparing for baptism, and it is a public moment: the whole parish witnesses the catechumen's commitment and takes on a shared responsibility for supporting them toward the font.
