Feast of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist

The Cathedral observed the Feast of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist on August 29th. It is a feast day that carries a fast with it; the Church remembers the death of the Forerunner not with celebration but with solemnity. Service times were corrected and communicated to parishioners ahead of the observance.
